Unconditional Praise

Habakkuk 3:17-19

Although the fig tree shall not blossom , neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail , and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.

When things in your life become chaotic. Will you be able to say?
Lord, although things don’t go my way,
And I have nothing to eat,
Plus, I just got laid off,
then, I sow but I get nothing in return
and it seem everything around me is going from bad to worse.
Yet, I will rejoice in you.

It is easy to rejoice in God when everything is well with us.
Will you still rejoice in him,
when the going gets tough and tougher.
Will you still rejoice in him even the midst of pain and anguish?

God wants us to rejoice in him all the time.
Bad situations will always come.
It shouldn’t hinder our praise.

Stop letting your situation detect your level of praise.
In fact, enhance your praise in the midst of turmoil.
Let the enemy be put to Shame.

Good: Rejoice in the Lord
Bad: Rejoice in the Lord.

Don’t be a conditional praiser.
