Did you know if you are not in control of your body? Well.. You control some but not all.. 

Our Nervous System plays a lot of role in our ability to feel, touch, move, interpret information, encode… and much more. 

What is the nervous System. 

I learned in school that our Nervous System is broken down into the CNS and PNS. 
CNS-Central Nervous System-Brain and Spinal Cord 
PNS-Peripheral Nervous System-Everything outside of the Brain and Spinal Cord. 

Our PNS is divided into somatic(we control) and autonomic(we don’t control). 

Moving my arms, legs..etc (somatic-we control) 
My heart beating (autonomic-we can’t control) 
Wow.. We serve a MIGHTY GOD! 

Ps. 139:14 “We are fearfully and wonderfully made”

Did you know your ability to blink is a gift?
Our human eyes blinks 10,000 times a day (source)
BlinkImagine your eyes without the ability to blink?

Why is blinking so important?

According to Dr. Stern, adults blink more frequently to cleanse and moisten our cornea (source). He also says we blink less frequently when we are learning something or getting our attention attentively to something. Moistening our eyes is important to protect our eyes from bacteria (source).

You subconsciously blink not knowing it is working out for your own good.

“We are fearfully and wonderfully made.”-Psalms 139:14

Do you know our ability to exhale Carbon dioxide and inhale Oxygen is nothing but a miracle.
Did you know there has to be pressure difference between our lungs and environment that allows us to breath?
When air pressure in our lungs is lower than our atmosphere, air comes into the lungs.
A higher pressure in the lungs as you guess helps us with exhaling.

Yes, we are fearfully and wonderfully made-Ps.139:14

Did you know that some people use one side of their brain more than the other?
If your right hand is more dominate than your left hand, you mostly use the left side of your brain.
If you use your left hand more, you probably use the right side of your brain more.
