Techno Babies..

ImageI call them “Techno Babies” in short for Technology Babies.
Why?
I have interacted with kids ages 1-4yrs..
It seems all of them know to work gadgets.
Gadgets as in a tablet, i-pad, i-pod.. Just to name a few.
And I am not talking about those made for kids.
It amazes me how they know to work it.
Give them a gadget..
You just have to turn on the power button and they know what to do.

It makes me wonder does God equip our new babies in the womb to know how to work new advances in technology?? It sounds like a crazy thought but we serve a Mighty God that is also full of surprises.

It amazes me, how a 4yr old knows how to get on a tablet..
without asking knows how to get on youtube to find her shows.
Of course, her parents may have shown her how to a few times
but the ability for her to navigate  way without much assistance is amazing.

I gave a 2yr old my laptop to play Angry birds..
I thought, i’d have to instruct him on how use the mouse to play.
Well, he got on the laptop and just knew what to do.

I don’t have a child,
maybe these kids have watched their parents long enough that they know what to do.
Who knows..

Love the Lord with all your SOUL!

For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

What is our Soul? Why does God want us to love him with all our soul?

Matthew and Mark resonate the same question.. what can a man give in exchange of his soul??

Luke 2:35- sword piercing through the soul and revealing our thoughts.

Rom 13:1- says let every soul be subject to authorities. In other words, let every man be subject to God.

It seems our soul is the real us ppl don’t get to  see.

Our soul is capable of emotions according to Luke 1:46 (mary praising  God)  and John 12:27 (soul is troubled).

  • 1 Thessalonians 5:23 NKJV-“Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

According to the verse above, we see the trinity. According to Genesis 1:26-God created us in our own image. God is 3 in One. God the father, God the son and God the holy spirit. If we were created in God’s image, we are similar to God. Of course, we are just mortals, we don’t possess immortal abilities as God. Our spiritual body is the body that will operate when it comes to eternity. What you do with your soul now on earth determines where your spirit will spend eternity.

We are spirit, soul and body. Our body we can clearly see but our souls and spirit we can’t. When we die, our spirit will separate from our bodies.

Back to soul.. What is our soul? In reference to 1 Thess 5:23-our soul is the real us, we don’t see.

Heb 4:12.. Talks about how the word can divide the soul from the spirit?

1 Peter 2:11 says lets flee lust and other things that wars against our soul. This verse indicates that the enemy is also interested in our soul. If he wasn’t interested, he wouldn’t war against our soul.

Of course, I need to do more studying on this topic.

From this brief study, it seems our soul is the real us we don’t get to see and others too. You know how ppl say the real person will come out. Our soul in other words is our inner man that is really who we are. People can act a certain way to hide who they really are but the person on the inside (soul) is really who they are.
Somehow, the enemy is also interested in our souls. Why?? More to come..

To my mystery man..cont.

Babe,

Someone very close to me is about to tie the knot
and yet, am trying so hard to not think about you.
I don’t want you to steal her spotlight.
It is her time.

Our time is coming soon,
I want it to tarry a little tho.
Cos I have some growing up
to do.
Am still a baby Christian
tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine.
It is not a good thing to say.
However, it is the truth.

I praise God for allowing this time
for me to grow up spiritually,
you don’t want a girl to sap every anointing out
of you?
No, I don’t want to do that to you, Babe!

We are God’s gift to each other,
that’s why I want to be complete in Christ,
before we meet each other.
I don’t want to be a problem,
I don’t want to hurt you.

I’ll be your first supporter
after God.
I want to do you good all
the days of my life.
I can’t do that if am a baby in
my relationship with God.

Am growing in love with Christ,
Cos that’s the glue that will hold
us together.

Babe, I will wait for u!

*Love*
Your heart throb!

Choice with a Twist!

God gave us this free gift call “choice” in all aspects of our lives except in choosing our race, gender, and family. None of it seems fair especially if you’re a poor black person in America. Of course, you wish you were born to President Obama or born to some rich Hollywood movie star or something. It’s not fair, why do some people have it made like Prince Harry and William?

Why didn’t God allow us to pick our race, gender, and family? I don’t have that answer.. Nobody does.
He allowed you to have the race, gender, and family  for his purpose and glory. He placed you in the right family, and gave you the right race and gender. Despite the fact, it is not exactly the kind you wanted. God chose this part of our lives because he knows everything. He knows the right family, race, gender that will best prepare you for his purpose for your life.

If you hate your race, gender and family; you’re technically saying that God’s choice for you was not the best. For those that truly know God, you know that God chooses the best for us. If you were given the choice to chose for yourself, I seriously doubt that your choice would have been better. No man’s wisdom can ever measure up to God’s. Our wisdom minutely shows us a glimpse of God’s wisdom. God is always right and his choice is always the best; even though, we don’t understand.

Complaining only undermines God’s decision to make you this way. Complaining wouldn’t change anything. Instead, thank God that he made you the way you’re cos he knew that he needed you to be this way to fulfill your purpose for your life. Remember in Genesis, God re-assessed everything he created and he said “it was Good.” Apply that to your life now, he looked back after he created you and said the same thing. God’s choice and decision is always perfect, and we know he is not the author of confusion.

God knew you would mess up making this decision, so he chose by himself. If you think you’d have made a better decision than God, think again. Embrace this inevitable facts about you. Some people can change their gender this days through surgery. U can go through surgery or you can just accept the fact that you can never be smarter than God. Accept yourself, God made you!!!

Unconditional Love cravings…

A baby craves snuggling in the arms of a parent or caretaker. When he or she cries the warmth of their affection gently eases them out of their discomfort. A little hug, kiss, and tender care means the world to a baby. As the baby grows into a toddler and starts exploring the world with a little fear of uncertainty. When “bo-bos” happen, they cry and run back to their parent to feel save and secure again. After getting that reassurance, return back to the adventure.

As toddlers grow into preschoolers they start looking for affirmation from parents and caregivers. At this stage, they love to take initiative and receive positive reinforcements for their accomplishment. At different times, they still like to cuddle and steal away kisses and hugs. As preschoolers grow into their school age yrs,  they begin to build friendship from this stage. Here, they crave love from their friends along with positive reinforcement from parents or caregivers for their performance.

As schoolage students grow into teenagers, they begin to crave the acceptance from their peers and attention from the opposite sex. They start building intimate relationships with the opposite sex where they crave the love from their boyfriends or girlfriends.Twenties or thirties.. they begin to crave love and attention from their significant other, growing children extended family members and friends.

Thirties and fourties..they still crave love and attention from their significant other, children, grand children, other family members and friends. Forties and fifties.. they still crave love from their significant other, if they are still alive, then children  grand children, other family members and friends. Fifties, sixties, seventies and so on.. they still craves love from their significant other if they are still alive, then children, grand children, great grandchildren, family members and friends.

Throughout life, we will always crave to love and be loved.  Love is so important to God  that’s why he created us that way. Regardless, the amount of love we get from others, none can top the love given to us by our creator.  Unconditional love is the type of love that is freely given without any price. Until we go to the creator of love to fill us with his love, we will continue to crave.. and crave….
