Why do you need another blog?

Someone asked me..

I need another blog because I have the life of my dreams in another country and it hurts me that a lot of my people are not living their dreams in their own country. I live in the states, I have constant light and water; however, my people have to use generators to see light and they have to carry water on their heads to bring to their houses before they have water in the house. Yes, I know what you are thinking, I am only a woman I can’t accomplish anything to help my people.  I have no time to listen to critics when my people are suffering. The poor people in the States have better lives than people in my country.

Some say.. you are not smart enough.. I am not this or that. I DON’T CARE. MY PEOPLE ARE SUFFERING and I will scream to anyone who can hear me. My scream is for you educated Nigerians aboard to remember your people, and do something. Do Something! We have to do something. Our government has failed our people; we have to build each other up to build a better Nigeria. Today, I ate three times, we have college graduates on the streets selling pure water to put at least one meal on their table. We have to remember our people; we can’t enjoy the good of someone’s country and neglects ours. College graduates are gate mans, house boys and girls for rich people in Nigeria.

No matter where you go and how bad you want to forget your identity, it doesn’t change the fact that you are still a Nigerian. I speak with an American accent all day; it doesn’t change the fact that I am still a Nigerian. Neglect your people; neglect yourself because we are one. If you are doing well aboard please, remember your people and give back.

We think we have to help the whole country to help Nigeria. Not True! If you can help one Nigerian and that Nigerian helps another Nigerian… We will change Nigeria. There’s one thing I love most about Americans, they love community service. Americans work hard and they give back as well. If our country also had that sense of community service do you think our country would be where it is today? No! We need to adopt community service into our culture. Yes, some Nigerians don’t want progress. Help the Nigerians who want progress.

This is why I am starting another blog called INTERATIONAL EAGLES OF NIGERIA coming to wordpress in 2014.

Inspirational Pictures to help you Save Money on braids!

Do what?

Learn to do your own hair and save lots of money. I learned last year from youtube. I love helping people stay in business but the prices for braids were getting crazy? $70-$100 for what?? I took charge of my life and I got on youtube and learned to do my own braids.
You have to make up your mind to save money to devote the time to learn.

Here are some pictures for inspiration..
I did Kinky Twist first before braids.

Nigerian NFL Players 2013

Dear Lord,

I pray you help all our Nigerian NFL players to do well in Football this season. I pray they will come out of this season injury free and with no medical complications. I pray you give them strength in any area of their weakness. Father, we cover them with the blood of Jesus that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. Lord, you said that you will make us the head and not the tail. Father, I pray you make them the head this NFL season. Thank you Lord that it is well with their teams, coaches, playmates, families and all that concerns them.

Amen!

To Nigerian NFL Players: I pray you use the platform God has given you guys to change the face of Nigeria.  God bless and stay Strong!

Philippians 4:13-You can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

Killing Lust Series: RUN!

I remember in college this guy who liked me dropped me off in my dorm room. When he was in my dorm room, I guess he couldn’t handle me and him in my room. Yes, he literally ran out!
You know your strengths and weakness. If you know seeing a woman or a man in a certain type of clothing will empower lust in your life then don’t put yourself in that situation. Avoid situations that will empower lust in your life. For example, if seeing R-rated movies or any movie that has sex in it or anything that is a struggle for you, it means you don’t need to see that movie. Feeding lust enhances lust in your life. The best way to kill lust is through the power of God and starving its appetite.

“Flee from every appearance of evil” 1 Thess. 5:22

This girl in my church thought there was nothing wrong with porn. She said you are not really doing the real thing. That is far from the truth. Porn empowers lust. If you are struggling with porn please, don’t allow anyone to fool you. Porn is very satanic and devilish. The enemy will use porn in your life to destroy you. If lust has gotten to this stage for you, other people need to be involved. If you have someone you trust who can help you exercise self-control and keep you in prayers.

Yes, we live in a hypersexual world but we can’t be ignorant of the plans of the enemy.
More to come!

As you can tell I love South Africans. I love the music, culture, fashion, dance and anything South African.
South Africa is my next favorite country after Nigeria.

I love this song.

Modimo re boka wena– God, we praise thee

goba tsotlhe di entswe ke wena– everything is made by you (You make everything possible)

Rea go leboga Modimo, tau ya leloko la Juta– We’re thankful God, the lion king of Judea

Team Light Skin vs. Team Dark Skin

It amazes me how some black people bleach themselves to get lighter. Why can’t we love ourselves? You don’t see other race doing crazy things like bleaching. If God made you dark, love yourself and keep your dark complexion. Black people, we have to love ourselves. Love YOURSELF. LOVE YOU!!

When I arrived in the States my complexion was darker than now. As years went by, I started getting lighter. Out of all my siblings, I have the lightest complexion. To be honest, I loved my dark complexion; I didn’t want to get lighter. There’s nothing wrong with a light or dark complexion.

We are beautiful the way God made us. We are not smarter than God. God has a purpose to why he created us the way he created us.

Let’s Stop this Team Light Skin and Team Dark Skin.. Love You! Please, LOVE YOU!

“We are fearfully and wonderfully made” –Psalms 139:14

Again, we are not smarter than GOD!
