It amazes me how some black people bleach themselves to get lighter. Why can’t we love ourselves? You don’t see other race doing crazy things like bleaching. If God made you dark, love yourself and keep your dark complexion. Black people, we have to love ourselves. Love YOURSELF. LOVE YOU!!
When I arrived in the States my complexion was darker than now. As years went by, I started getting lighter. Out of all my siblings, I have the lightest complexion. To be honest, I loved my dark complexion; I didn’t want to get lighter. There’s nothing wrong with a light or dark complexion.
We are beautiful the way God made us. We are not smarter than God. God has a purpose to why he created us the way he created us.
Let’s Stop this Team Light Skin and Team Dark Skin.. Love You! Please, LOVE YOU!

A time will come where all of us have to part ways. I must say, it was a privilege getting to know all of you. All of us have formed some relationships. Some relationships are stronger than others. I cherish all the times we spent together at church, bible studies, soccer, home of love and the rest. You are talented and unique in your own ways. You have challenged me in my walk with God and for that I say thank you.
I pray that we will hold fast to our faith and to all that we have learned in home of love. I pray for the best for each of you in your endeavors. I can’t wait to see your bright futures with your spouses and children. I pray for peace, love, happiness in the next chapters of your lives. For some of you this might be the only time I will get to see you guys again, I pray that wherever life takes you that you will continue to shine for Christ.
I have seen little Joseph and David grow before my eyes. We have seen Victoria with no hair but now she has this long hair and she is in college (lol!). We have seen little Jubilee and Grace grow before our eyes. My favorite video is seeing someone (u know) drop their pants while dancing (lol!). I remember the time I was taller than Elijah before I knew it, he was tall. Little Vincent now has swag (lol!). The list goes on and on. Little mama is now done with school (can you imagine?). Time flies so fast (where did time go?).
Some of you may not like me or pretend to like me for the sake of peace (excuse my honesty). I want all of you to know, I love all of you and our times together. I know this letter is kind of cheesy (some would say!) but you all have a special place in my heart regardless if you like me or not.
*Lack of communication: Ladies, this is huge. If a guy doesn’t keep in touch with you as often like he used to most likely he is not into you. If a guy likes you, he will do whatever it takes to talk to you. Guys are complex that’s why we have to pay more attention to their actions than their words. Their actions don’t lie.
Analyze his actions not his words especially when his words don’t match his actions. You will get the answer you need by analyzing his actions. If he is really into you his words and his actions will match. If he is not communicating as much, back off too and see what happens. Don’t make the mistake of initiating conversations. Don’t beat yourself up, learn from it and move on.
A lot of women and men have this long list of what they want in their future spouse, but they don’t have the same qualities as the person they want.

YES, I seriously believe good guys don’t club. Good guys look for commitments not flings. I rarely hear guys say, I want to find my wife at the club. Ladies, if you are going to the club to find your husband. NEW FLASH: He is not there. No reasonably guy will go to the club to find a meaningful long lasting relationship. Most guys, who go to clubs, go for one reason (you already know). Ladies, don’t expect any guy you meet at the club to respect you because they also know you came for the same reasons they came. Guys are not stupid, they will go to club and party it up but when it is time for them to settle down. They will go somewhere else and find their wife. Boys are at the clubs. Real men are in responsible places.

This friend and I were very close until one day something happened.
I don’t know exactly what happened to be honest with you.
Fast Forward 5yrs later, I discover that she was not even a true friend.
I recently told her, I don’t want the friendship back to be honest..
I know this is wrong because the best way I can show God I love him is by loving this person.
My flesh doesn’t want to forgive but I have to forgive.
I love God so much and I can’t let petty things like this destroy my relationship with God.
My relationship with God is more important.
The enemy will try to use anyone to get you to strive.
I can’t give God my rice and stew or pepper soup.
Choosing to forgive says to God, I love you so much that I can’t risk taking any chances with my relationship with you.
Don’t think about the offense; think about your relationship with God.
