Why are more Black men dating and marrying people outside of their race?

I think there’s a lag in communication between black men and black women.

Personally, I have nothing against black men dating people outside of their race; however, black women are losing their men to women of other races.

Hopefully, I can get some of you black men talking to help some black women understand why are you more prone to going outside of your race?
I have heard many answers from a few black men here and there but I want to hear from more black men.

Please, black men answer the questions below..

Here are some of the questions:
Are you attracted to black women?
If yes, are you dating someone outside of your race?
If yes, why are you dating someone outside of your race
Are you now dating people outside of your race from negative past experiences with black women?
Do you think women of other races are more tamed than black women?
If you could say something to some black women. What would you say?

Please give your answers by commenting below or you can send your answers to me [email protected].
I’d really love to hear what you guys think..

Your answers will help a lot of black women. Please, answer!!!

You can’t Buy Love.. Can you?

Love is priceless,
Love is not a feeling, or an emotion.
We have watered down this thing called “love.”
Nowadays, a guy can buy a girl’s in love with his good looks and a large bank account.

Ladies, we are not waiting for love anymore, we are settling for financial security and mere looks.
Guys don’t feel they have to do much anymore.
That sacrificial love is gone.
We are all looking for what we can gain not what we can give.
Lust takes, takes and takes..
Love gives.
Girls we can buy love from guys by being beautiful.
Our natural beauty is enough but to catch the best, we have to add some artificial “stuff” (you know).
The more fake we become the more attention we get.
We only hurt ourselves when we underestimate love.

If you choose anything such as money, looks above love. You lose.

Ted Talk Review: The Skill of Self Confidence by Dr. Ivan Joseph

Here’s my notes from this this Ted Talk.

“I am the captain of my ship and the master of my fate” –Ernest Henley

Without the skill of self-confidence we are useless.

Self-confidence: the ability or belief to believe in yourself to accomplish any task, no matter the odds, the difficulty or adversity.

Self-confidence can be trained by:
1. Repetition, repetition, repetition. Practice!
The problem with repetition is that we bail out after a few tries.
Don’t accept failure; repetition and persistence are key.

2. Self-talk- we all have this negative self-talk in our heads. Guess what?  We have enough people saying “we can’t do it, we are not good enough.” Thoughts influence actions. The more we focus on the negative, we will start believing it. We need our own self affirmations.  Get away from people who tear you down. We need our own self affirmations where we tell ourselves “I am the captain of my ship and the master of my fate.”
-Write a letter to yourself of the things you are proud of and read it to yourself daily to reaffirm yourself.

STOP THE NEGATIVE SELF TALK.

Build confidence in others by-Praising the positive behaviors we want to reinforce.

Self-confident people interpret negative feedback the way they want to.

Lastly, NO-ONE WILL BELIEVE IN YOU UNLESS YOU DO.

Know these 2 Facts by Daniel Oyinloye

Note to self:

Know these 2 FACTS and reclaim your existence which in turn gives you confidence to live well.

1. We ALL Where born great | Smart | Talented. No one person should get all the pressure of being different. Choose to live (by that i really mean get out of yourself and stop trying to hold on to who you are. YOU JUST ARE.

2. We ALL were born with a strong longing, a fascinating desire. Know this vacuum (so It Seems) WILL NOT be filled with drugs, sex, and alcohol. It could only be filled entirely with a piece of your creator.

And Daniel remember that science is really just a story. They said the world was flat for the longest time and then it became round. Yes, it’s the best story we have appropriated but not the best story we’ve got! SCIENCE MEANS STUDY OF. In this case the artist and scientist are all scientists and all we have been doing is the STUDY OF GOD to grasp a better understanding of our self, and our environment. Why not just pick up the bible while you are at it. It’s a humble gift to you.

– Rekindled by a conversation with a good friend Charlie Noble, Inspired by everyone and everything God had put in place to remind me of Existence. ( Rafael Arevalo ). I live another day, not by my power, but by the creators will. #NothingForGranted

Killing Lust Series: Music

As a Nigerian, I am very proud of my Nigerian artists and their creative music, but I have to be careful to what I listen to. There are spirits connected to music, if you believe it or not. We open ourselves up to all kinds of spirits by what we listen to. Our music industry is polluted with the spirit of lust, the spirit of greed and the spirit of self-love. If you listen to songs all day about grinding, sex and all sorts of promiscuity, don’t be surprised if that’s all you think about.

Proverbs 4:23 “Guard your heart with all diligence” We have to guard our hearts from anything that doesn’t line with the word of God. If the message in the song contradicts the word of God, it means we shouldn’t be listening or supporting that kind of music. This kind of music will affect our spirit man because we have the holy spirit on the inside of us.

What are you listening to? Does it glorify God?

Tedx Talk Review: Failing All Way to Success by Jason Njoku

Jason Njoku is the CEO of Irokotv and founder of Nollywoodlove on YouTube.

Here are my notes from his Tedx Speech..

“People fear failure but what they really fear is the shame associated with failure.

Embracing failure allows you to be completely free from the fear of taking risk.

There’s a point that if you keep on failing nothing matters anymore.

Emotional Capital is similar to money. You make a deposit every time you fail and get back up again. With emotional capital you are unshackled by what people expect from you.

The more we have an open discussion about failure, the more we accept failure as culture and the more people can spend time trying and taking risk.

What’s the worst that can happen? You fail but there’s tomorrow.

Everyone has a challenge to overcome. Failure is ok.”
